Loantaka Park in Convent Station Morris Township NJ

Its technically called Loantaka Brook Reservation, but I live right down the street and Morristown residents typically refer to the area as Loantaka Park. There are four areas of the reservation

Seaton Hackney Stables -Horseback Riding
South Street Recreation Area
Loantaka Brook Park at Kitchell Road
Loantaka Way Trail

There are more than 570 acres to Loantaka Reservation and it sits in one of the more populated areas of Morris County. There are almost 5 miles of trails which are commonly used for biking, jogging, hiking, roller blading and horse back riding. There are three ball fields, three parking lots and picnic facilities. This park is quite popular during our warmer and even cooler months.
