Home Depot Near Morristown Delivers!

Today's highlights were at Home Depot in East Hanover...close to Morristown NJ!
The story to follow won't surprise people who know me at all. I went to Home Depot looking for deck chairs. I pulled out several different chairs....sat in them for a while...threw on the cushions put the little table for appetizers next to it...even took a few pictures. I also solicited the opinions of people passing by, as there were many comments about getting into the spring weather, those are nice cushions, they look comfy, etc. One woman even tried to take my chair cushions, but I luckily caught her in time.
I finally decided on the beige Adirondack chairs, with the beige table and some green and beige cushions that fit nicely. As I was checking out, right in the front of the store were the same Adirondack chairs in alot of different colors that I hadn't seen before!
The process basically starts all over right in the front of the store. I had chairs spread out all over and in one instance was actually blocking someone from getting their merchandise out of the store. The people working there were really nice in working with me on this and helping to move stuff out of the way, etc...infact even a few customers helped me with the chairs. It was quite an event. I finally decided on the RED chairs which were exactly like the beige only much more bold, exciting and fun! They were my first instinct when I looked at them at checkout. The cushions and little cocktail table didn't go, so I had to return them.
Next phase...they did offer to have someone help me put the chairs in my car, but I figured I could handle it, and didn't want to be any more trouble. I went out to my car...small older BMW and after about 15 minutes of struggle realized it just wasn't happening. Then I'm wheeling the RED chairs back into the store. Here she comes again!
The store manager 'Frank' was up front and made a comment that he thought there was some sortof scam going on...kiddingly. I told him that I couldn't get the chairs in my car and asked if I could just leave them and have someone pick them up. He said 'no, but where do you live?'...I told him Morristown and he said he would follow me and take them in his truck to my house in Morristown. He did indeed do that during rush hour traffic. I was delighted and floored.
Well, the chairs are Fabulousa!!! I think Frank is establishing a whole new bar for 'service'! What next...maybe a small plate of appetizers to consume or some planters to view while sitting on my new chairs?!
