Madison Sells Healthy Pizza

I don't eat pizza often so when I do, I want it to be good.  Lately, when I decide to treat myself, I head for Whole Foods on Main Street in Madison NJ.

Over in the deli section, they make and cook pizza in a brick oven.  On any given day, they'll have a variety of toppings.  My favorite is topped with asparagus and pesto, which I just tried as by mistake one day. You can buy pieces that they'll cut off for you and heat up or order a full pie to take home to the family or for entertaining. Believe me, its yummy good and they can make pizza with whole grain crust if you want to feel a little healthy.

Ice Cream for Morristown!

Thursday, March 4th, 2010 at 8:58pm. 65 Views, 0 Comments.

I went to the Morristown Creamery  last night.  I really enjoy that place. I meet friends there alot to catch up.  Not only do they have great home made ice cream, gelato, deserts and all that good stuff, but they also serve lunch and their food is good!  Coming from me, that's saying something. I've gone there with clients alot too just to discuss various homes we've looked at, the real estate market in general and next steps.

In the summer it gets crowded...inside and out.  Its nice to get ice cream and walk up to the Morristown green or just sit outside at the Vail Mansion.

I feel no guilt in eating the ice cream if I do the walk.....I haven't tried changing my jogging route yet, but that in and of itself would be incentive to go for a…

Real Estate Advice?

Wednesday, November 25th, 2009 at 3:01pm. 52 Views, 0 Comments.

I read this on the website of a friend who sells Calgary real estate.  Let me pass it on to all that find their way to this page.   The words are wise and sometimes hard to follow, but all we can do is our best.  I hope you have a wonderful life journey and that our paths cross.

1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.

2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.

3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone..

4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.

5. Pay off your credit cards every month.

6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.

8. Save for retirement starting with your first pay check..

9.…

Live The Clock of Life

Wednesday, November 25th, 2009 at 9:40am. 37 Views, 0 Comments.

I had dinner with a friend tonight and she told me that this was her mom's favorite poem and she lived her life by it.  It really hit home for me as I have recently started living my life this way for several reasons.  Mostly because I have come to realize, coupled with some sadness, that what this poem states is simple and true.  It was written by Robert H. Smith in 1982...please read it ~ consider ~ stop back and read it again.   "The clock of life is wound but once, And no man has the power To tell just when the hands will stop At late or early hour. To lose one's wealth is sad indeed. Too lose one's health is more. To lose one's soul is such a loss That no man can restore." Today, only is our own. So live, love and toil with a will. Place no faith in…

Madison NJ - Drew University Class

Let Your Imagination Speak! Madison NJ's Drew Theological School offered a course on Ministry and Imagination: Wholly Living/Holy Dying.  The participating students were invited to creatively explore life and death, through theological perspectives, as well as their whole being – body, mind and spirit.  The class was divided into three groups of dance, body and art.  The dance group explored their imagination through rhythmic movement.  The body group came to appreciate more of life though touch and relaxation techniques and beautiful images of life and death were created on canvas within the art group.  The class allowed the Madison University students to become more sensitive to their bodies and imagination…

Do You Like Ice Cream?

I don't know that I've ever met anyone who doesn't like ice cream!  I try not to over indulge cause I like being thin and watch cholesterol.  Since I don't do it often, when I do, I do it right!!  Morristown NJ has a great place spot with homemade ice cream.  Its called the South Street Creamery Cafe.  I have to tell you their stuff is just soooo good.  They have many wonderful flavors of the most delightful ice cream, sorbet, Italian Gelato and yogurt (hey, go for the real thing). Morristown South Street Creamery goes further.....  I stopped in for lunch cause I heard that they had a lunch menu and the food was good.  I figured even if it wasn't, I could salvage the trip with some ice cream.  I had a chicken pannini…

Earth Hour Awareness For Morris County NJ

I went to do a search on Google this morning and honestly, I thought there was something wrong with my computer.  Their page was completely blacked out with a message about a world-wide effort called Earth Hour...check it out its pretty cool.  So thank you Google for enlightening me about this global event to raise the world's awareness of energy conservation. Evidently the event originated in Sydney, Australia in 2007 and has grown to be something with participants from various organizations, timezones, cities and people around the world.  Canada has one of the highest participation rates.
  • Lights are turned off at buildings and landmarks
  • Restaurants and businesses are encouraged to shut the…
