Chatham, NJ is a borough in Morris County, New Jersey that is a small village which was settled because of its important crossing of the Passaic River. There is a gap in the Watchung Mountains that was a well-known Native American trail near Chatham, NJ and it was active in fighting the American Revolutionary War.
