Gotta Love Millburn

Millburn NJ real estate is in great demand because Millburn High is ranked #1 in all of New Jersey.  Additionally, these train stations cater to New York commuters.  There are two train stations in Millburn Township NJ...one is in Short Hills and the other in downtown Millburn.  As you can see by the average home sale statistics for Millburn below reflecting eight years back, the real estate is a solid investment and continues to sell quickly.  These statistics include Short Hills NJ real estate.  The steady increase over the years is expected and notice the days on the market hasn't changed much.

Morristown NJ Thanksgiving Wishes

Today I won't think about listing or selling Morristown NJ real estate.  I will take the day to reflect on my life and give thanks.  My friend Cal Carter, an Alabama Gulf Coast Realtor sent me this little blurb and I thought I'd share it with everyone in Morristown NJ wishing you a healthy and grateful Thanksgiving Day celebration.

HOW TO OBSERVE THANKSGIVING

Count your blessings instead of your crosses; Count your gains instead of your losses. Count your joys instead of your woes; Count your friends instead of your foes. Count your smiles instead of your tears; Count your courage instead of your fears. Count your full years instead of your lean; Count your kind deeds instead of your mean. Count your…

    Homes Gaining Market Value

    Thursday, November 20th, 2008 at 2:40pm. 126 Views, 0 Comments.

Take a look at this MSNBC article about the real estate market.  The housing prices have dropped everywhere across the country.  I specialize in Morristown, Chatham and Millburn NJ which are all commuter friendly towns with great schools and they are no exception.  Home sellers seem to be in denial about the value of their homes.  This not only creates a problem for Realtors, but for themselves in the long run.  Prices have dropped and by listing a home too high, sellers actually hurt themselves more.  The home will sit longer and clock high days on the market.  The home will eventually sell after many price reductions while losing precious time. Its a difficult concept to accept, however many homeowners are listing and selling their homes for much less…
